  • Manages talent acquisition process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, evaluation, interviews, offer creation, and hiring 
  • Establishes a company-wide employee onboarding process, including scheduling with internal stakeholders 
  • Works with managers to define roles and write job descriptions, keeping them up-to-date, accurate and compliant with relevant federal, state and local laws 
  • Develops learning and development program, identifying internal and external resources as necessary to support training initiatives 
  • Leads performance management and review process to ensure all employees understand their responsibilities, expectations, development areas, and career growth opportunities 
  • Creates and manages compensation strategy through market analysis
  • Handles investigation and resolution of employee issues, concerns, and conflicts
  • Ensures all employment practices comply with federal, state and local regulations
  • Manages Zenefits, including all associated employee requirements and communications
  • Establishes and manages internship and apprenticeship programs 
  • Establishes goals, metrics, and reporting for talent management, recruiting, and employee satisfaction

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

  • 5-8 years experience in general HR and talent acquisition
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, and Labor Relations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Knowledge of compensation strategy, performance management, employee relations, safety practices and talent acquisition, and the ability to apply this information in a manner that is compliant with relevant employment law
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of engagement, collaboration, and teamwork
  • Experience with resource planning, and compiling and analyzing employment/salary data to guide strategic planning
  • Solid understanding of implementing 401K programs with employees through Guideline
  • Experience working with HR systems (Zenefits is a plus) for  employment management, benefits, and performance reviews
