Name: Brittany Tarpey
Title: Studio Account Manager
Years with Snap36: 5 Years
How did you first learn about Snap36?
I was fresh out of college with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, employed as a school picture taker dreaming of bigger and better things. I knew I wanted to be in the world of product photography but was unsure how to get there. I was googling Chicago Photography Studios and Snap36 was one that came up.
What has been your favorite project at Snap36?
Vera Bradley, our contact Doug is one of the easiest people to work with. He completely understands what we do and why we are doing it. He is willing to put the necessary time and energy into each shoot which shows through in his product spins.
If you were an animal what would you be?
If you could meet anyone in the world dead or alive who would it be and why?
Chelsea Handler, she is so bold and hilarious I would love to be her friend.
If you could witness any historical event, what would you want to see?
History isn’t really my thing but I would have liked to walk on the moon.
Favorite travel spot?
The beach. Give me nice, warm weather and a good book and I am set.
If you could only drink one beer for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Coors Light, obviously.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
Having to repeat myself.
What phobias do you have?
Any bug that crawls. The more legs it has the scarier it is.
What has been your favorite part about working at Snap36?
Seeing the company evolve. We are growing like a weed and it has been so interesting to see all of the employees finding where they best fit into the company. Just because you were hired for one position doesn’t necessarily mean you will be in that position next month.
